The Bendix+ Versajust+ LS (Link-Style) is an automatic slack adjuster (ASA) designed for cam-actuated drum brakes on 90% of common applications for trucks, tractors and trailers. Its core function is to maintain precise brake lining-to-drum clearance by using a patented WearMax Clutch, which features a more gradual adjustment rate than competitive ASAs to prevent -over-adjustment- caused by thermal expansion of the brake drum. This technology helps to significantly reduce brake drag, potentially extending lining life by up to 16% and drum life by up to 30%, while ensuring maximum chamber reserve stroke to help maintain high CSA safety scores.
