The Bendix+ SC-1 and SC-2 single check valves are protection devices used extensively in the air brake system to separate and protect reservoirs located ahead of the arrow stamped on its body. It permits air to flow through it in only one direction as indicated by the arrow. The Single Check Valve is most commonly used to protect service brake air pressure. However, its applications are numerous throughout the system.
